Having been a photographer lugging around camera gear for hours, sometimes up to 5-7 pounds for a single setup, I can vouch for the comfort of neoprene shoulder systems. It’s fantastic to see them integrated into Galco holsters. While I adore my Galco Classic Lite, when it comes to heavier firearms, these neoprene systems are an absolute necessity. I’m definitely looking forward to trying one of these out soon.

🟡 Shoulder holsters often have extra straps/snaps that require manipulation during the draw. Drawing while seated or wearing a cover garment takes additional training.
🟡 Drawing across the body with the weak hand takes repetitions to build proficiency. Safely reholstering to a shoulder rig takes focused practice.

I’ve been using a Galco Classic Lite Shoulder Holster for my Glock 43 for a while now, and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s affordable and does the job. The only downside is that it’s not as quick to access as a strong-side holster, but it’s great for deep concealment.
