However, when it comes to sensors of the same size, the experience tends to be similar across different brands, and the rest comes down to personal preference. If I had the chance to choose again, I would opt for a Pulsar Trail LRF XQ50 Thermal Riflescope with a 640x sensor and a wide field of view.

                    I own and have extensively used the Pulsar Thermion XM50 Thermal Riflescope. It has been a reliable choice for me. With that kind of thermal scope, you should be able to easily spot and identify a person at distances of up to 150 yards, and even detect general movement at greater distances.
