There are a few ways to tell if an AK-47 is set to full auto or not.
First, you can check the selector lever. On a full-auto gun, the selector lever will be in the down position, while on a semi-auto gun it will be in the up position.
Second, you can look at the trigger group. On a full-auto gun, there will be a second hole drilled into the trigger group right above the trigger. This hole is where the full auto sear release is located. On a semi-auto gun, this hole will not be present.
Third, you can look at the magazine release. On a full-auto gun, the magazine release will have been relocated to the left side of the gun, while on a semi-auto gun it will be in the factory location on the right side of the gun.
If you are unsure whether or not your AK-47 is set to full auto, it is always best to consult with a qualified gunsmith or firearms instructor. Never attempt to convert a semi-auto gun to full auto yourself, as this is illegal in most jurisdictions.

One way is to look at the selector lever. If the lever is in the “full auto” position, then the gun is capable of firing in both semi-auto and full-auto modes.
Another way to tell is by looking at the magazine. If the magazine has a slot for a full auto sear, then the gun is capable of firing in full auto mode.
Finally, you can check with the manufacturer to see if the gun is rated for full-auto fire.
