There is no definitive answer to this question. Some shooters prefer a very light trigger pull, while others find that a slightly heavier pull provides more accuracy.
There are a few things you can do to lighten the trigger pull on your AR-15:
1. Install a lighter-weight spring in the trigger assembly.
2. Use a lighter-weight firing pin spring.
3. Use a lighter-weight hammer spring.
4. Polish the contact surfaces of the trigger and hammer pins (this can be done with fine-grit sandpaper or with a polishing compound).
5. Lubricate all of the internal parts of the trigger assembly with good quality gun oil (this will help reduce friction). We have also selected the best gun oil for you.
You can also have a gunsmith install a “trigger job” which will usually involve some combination of the above steps.
If you are not comfortable working on your firearms, it is always best to seek the services of a qualified gunsmith.

Some general tips that may help to lighten the trigger pull weight include:
1. Installing a lighter recoil spring.
2. Lubricating all moving parts of the trigger mechanism.
3. Polishing any metal surfaces that come into contact with each other during the trigger pull motion.
4. Adjusting the sear engagement (the distance between the two engagement surfaces on the hammer and sear).
There are a few things you can do to lighten the trigger pull on your AR-15:
- One of the simplest solutions is to install a lighter spring.
- You can also reduce the weight of the trigger itself by installing a lighter trigger connector or by polishing the contact surfaces.
- You can also adjust the tension on the hammer spring.
All of these modifications will result in a lighter trigger pull, but it’s important to proceed with caution and test each change thoroughly before moving on to the next. Improper adjustment of these components can result in an unsafe firearm.

You can lighten the trigger pull on an AR-15 by changing out the hammer spring. A lighter hammer spring will reduce the amount of force required to cock the hammer and consequently decrease the pull weight on the trigger.
There are several springs available from different manufacturers that will lighten the trigger pull, and it’s important to choose a spring that is compatible with your AR-15. Be sure to consult your gunsmith before making any changes to your rifle.
